About the Shows

Glory Days: The Troubadours at The Troubadour

By Chris McHarge

Through music and storytelling, Glory Days celebrates the artists who first found their voices on the open mic nights of Hollywood’s legendary Troubadour Club. Featuring songs made famous by the Eagles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Carole King, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, and many others, the production highlights the musicians whose work has shaped the soundtrack of our lives.

Written and directed by Chris McHarge—former Artistic Director at Lighthouse Festival (Port Dover), Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton), and the Grand Theatre (Fergus), and founder of the Brave New Works play-reading series—Glory Days pays tribute to the passion, resilience, and enduring influence of some of the greatest songwriters in music history.

Produced in partnership with Chris McHarge.

Tuesdays with Morrie tells the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, a successful journalist consumed by his career, and his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz.

Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch sees Morrie featured on a television news program and discovers that his beloved mentor is battling Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).

Reunited after years apart, Mitch begins what he expects to be a brief visit. Instead, it becomes a weekly ritual - an intimate series of conversations that evolve into Morrie's final, most profound class: a lesson in what it truly means to live.

Based on the book by Mitch Albom.

Original New York production produced by David S. Singer, Elizabeth Ireland McCann, Joey Parnes, Amy & Scott Nederlander, Harold Thau, Moira Wilson, Shadowcatcher Entertainment
