The Orillia Opera House Dance Festival
is operated under the City of Orillia, Department of Culture and Heritage.

AGE GROUPS

Junior Classes
    4 years & under                  5 & 6 year olds                7 & 8 year olds                  9 & 10 year olds

Intermediate Classes
   11 & 12 year olds                   13 year olds                    14 year olds                       15 year olds   

Senior Classes
       16 year olds                   17 & 18 year olds           19 years and older

Adult Classes
(These classes are for teachers and former students no longer involved in lessons, who continue to want to perform for their Studio.  “Moms” and “Dads” classes would fit into this category, as well.)

18 years and older Non-Competitive - participants receive an Adjudication, but no mark
Teachers’ and Alumni Class – participants receive an Adjudication, but no mark

AGE AS OF JANUARY 1ST, 2012 WILL BE THE ACCEPTED AGE.

In Duet, Trio, Group, Line, Extended Line and Production classes, ages may be averaged.  After determining the average age, DROP the decimal point and use the remaining number as your age division.

THE ORILLIA OPERA HOUSE DANCE FESTIVAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COMBINE OR SPLIT CLASSES WITHIN EACH AGE DIVISION, DEPENDENT ON NUMBERS OF ENTRIES.
